3 Weeks!

Elisha is 3 weeks old already! I can't believe how time flies! He is already getting bigger. We had a Dr. appt. earlier this week and he has already gained a pound! He is now 11.2 lbs.

Here is my little one sleeping peacefully (finally) last night.

For Mother's Day we went to a members birthday party. He turned 93 this year! He had a difficult day, so he wasn't all that thrilled with a birthday party. However, once we let him see and hold Elisha he actually smiled! His son took a picture of the oldest and youngest members of our church. Hopefully he will get that to us soon so we can show you:). We then went to Subway and had a picnic at a park. I should say, Samuel and I ate and Abel played...it was perfect! :) I feel so very blessed to have my two boys with me. I won't say everyday is a joy, but I am so very thankful that God has blessed me with the vocation of being a mother and a wife. (P.S. If you ask Samuel about Mother's Day he will say, "Everyday is Mother's Day. Mother's day to cook, mother's day to clean, etc." What a special guy:)!)

Samuel's godparents sent us a gift for Elisha. They sent Big Brother/Little Brother shirts. They wore them yesterday for the first time. So, here are the big brother and the little brother!

Abel is becoming quite the photographer. He wanted to take another picture, so now you get to see the other half of our living room! I'm sure soon we will have a picture of every room in the house:).

Simeon Karl

My last post was to introduce our son Elisha. This post marks the second anniversary of our second son's birth and death. It is odd to have a baby when Simeon will forever be my baby. We thank God for the time that we did have with him and thank him that he has blessed us with Abel and Elisha as well.
I wanted to share some pictures of him.

Simeon may have been here a short time, but he has made such an imprint in our lives. We still miss him deeply, but thank God that He took him home to Heaven and that we will see him again someday.
