Elisha 3 months

 Elisha is now 3 months old. It was hard to get a picture of him without his hands in his mouth (he may have been a little hungry....). He is still a happy and content baby (for which I thank God multiple times a day!). He is getting to be quite the thumb/finger sucker. He likes a pacifier at times, but often likes to suck on his thumb. He is smiling and talking more and more each day. He really likes it when you sing to him, you can get some pretty big grins that way!

 Abel and Elisha are still getting along quite well. I know at times it is hard on Abel not to have my full attention, but he handles it pretty good. Abel is really into Spiderman right now. You can often find him on his swing set in the backyard doing "tricks" and shooting "webs" at different "bad guys". He also recently asked me to make him a bow and arrow from a stick. So, he is now Robin Hood as well. :)

Our family has been enjoying reading chapter books. Right now we are reading Charlotte's Web. Abel often requests to read these books and from the looks of this picture Elisha likes them too!

We recently went for a hike on Samuel's day off. We went up to Mammoth and did hiked the Duck Pass trail. It was a pretty hike, it was also a bit longer than we anticipated. However, we all made it up and back! I carried Elisha up and Samuel carried him back down. Abel walked the whole way (not without some complaints, but he still did it!). It was a fun family activity. We keep saying how we need to get out to do more things around here and we finally did one!

Elisha and Dad...we thought we had made it to Duck Lake, but apparently we only made it to Skelton Lake. Duck lake would have been at least another 2 miles up!

At the end of the trail! Owen did a great job on the hike as well! We didn't even make it out of the parking lot before both boys were fast asleep!

This is my sweet Elisha! I get sad when I think of how fast he is growing and who knows when the last time will be that he falls asleep on me!! I am trying to cherish every moment!

Abel's naps are becoming few and far between...This has happened a couple times. He doesn't nap at nap time, but at about 4:30 falls asleep in the chair! Of course by this time Elisha is awake and it is almost time to start dinner so no nap for Mom! :)

I took this just the other night. He fell asleep nursing at about 8:30 and was out! I put him on the floor to go shut off our sprinkler and thought he would wake up...nope. He was a tired little baby!:)
